Khartoum 3 beat SC Villa 1-0 in our second Group A match at Namboole. That leaves SC Villa with three points from two matches, but still with a good chance of making the quarter-finals should the boys beat Red S (Eritrea) on Saturday and Mlandege (Zanzibar) on Monday.

City Tyres have once again boosted SC Villa by donating new tyres for the club bus. City Tyres director Abdullahi Ahmed handed over the six tyres — each costing Shs 350,000 — to SC Villa assistant treasurer William Nkemba just ahead of the CECAFA championships.
