THE Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) delegates will today convene at the YMCA in Jinja for their annual assembly.

A Shs2b budget for the next financial year will be presented to the delegates for approval. Fufa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Charles Masembe confirmed that the assembly would start at exactly 9a.m. in the morning.

“The annual assembly is a constitutional requirement and apart from going through the activities in the past year and the new coming year, I do not think there will be anything much,” Masembe said.

“It will also look at the financial position of the federation and budget for the financial year.” 110 delegates are expected to attend the meeting. A few delegates have however complained that they have not seen the annual books of account.
