KCC beat Mazembe 3-2

Excitement overwhelmed soccer fans in Uganda Wednesday after Kampala City Council (KCC) F.C beat Mazembe 3-2 in this year’s CECAFA Club cup.

At the Match played in Khartoum Wenesday, the Ugandan side claimed what has been called their biggest football victory ever with a 3-2 win against the continental powerhouse, TP Mazembe of DR Congo in their group opener.

While KCC didn’t field CRANES Skipper, a serial goal thief, Brian Umony the striking line was well managed by ‘chief’ Anthony Bongole.

The three goals were scored by Anthony Bongole , Tonny Okollo, and Jeremiah Sebuyiira.

KCC was leading 2-1 at the halftime break.

The Ugandan side has won the regional soccer contest twice before with Police and Villa.
