· 1982: Under coach George
Mukasa, SC Villa won their first league title (The Super 10
League). The team had stars like Jimmy Kirunda, John Jumba and
Paul Edwin Hasule.
· 1983:
Lost the League title to KCC, but won the knockout Uganda Cup
trophy.
· 1984: The Blues were
back to their winning ways bagging the League title, but lost
the Uganda Cup to archrivals KCC.

1985: A lean year for SC Villa as the club failed to
win any silverware.
· 1986:
Won their first Double (League and Uganda Cup titles) in Ugandan
football history - largely thanks to the arrival of that prolific
youth striker Magid Musisi.
· 1987:
The Blues retained the League title and also won the Council
for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Club
Championships title in Kampala under coaches Timothy Ayeikoh
and Polly Ouma. They became only the second Uganda club (after
KCC in 1978) to win the regional title.

1988: The team picked their second 'Double' to become
'Ssalongo' (father of twins) with foreign coach Geoff Hudson
in charge.
· 1989: Registered
their third 'Double' to pronounce themselves as the most dominant
force in Uganda.
· 1990: Hungry
for more titles SC Villa only managed to retain the League title.
· 1991: Finished second in the League, SC Villa
went on to reach the finals of the Africa Club Championships.
SC Villa lost 6-2 in Tunis, and forced a 1-1 (7-3) draw at home
to Tunisia's Club Africain.
· 1992:
Won the League title, and reached the finals of the inaugural
Abiola Cup (CAF Cup), losing 3-0 on aggregate to Nigeria's Shooting
Stars FC. SC Villa also became the first Ugandan side to send
a player to the paid ranks in Europe (Magid Musisi).
· 1993: Another lean season. No silverware.
· After the 1993 season long serving skipper Paul
Hasule retires from active football. Hasule became assistant
coach (to Timothy Ayiekoh) and team manager. · In
December Francisco Mugabe 'Capo' replaced Patrick Kawooya as
SC Villa chairman.
· 1994:
Sula Kato takes over as captain. SC Villa regains League title.
· 1995: No silverware.
· 1996: No silverware.
· 1997: No silverware.
·
1998: With Paul Edwin Hasule as new head coach, SC
Villa recovers to win another 'Double'.
·
1999: Retained the League title, but lost the Uganda
Cup to Mbale Heroes.
· 2000:
Picked another 'Double', and won the regional Hedex Cup that
attracted the best teams from Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
· 2001: Retained the league title, but lost
the Kakungulu (Uganda) Cup to archrivals Express FC.
· 2002: SC Villa signed Yugoslav Sredojevic
Milutin 'Micho' as head coach, assisted by former Villa Park
player Moses Basena. The duo has so far been impressive as reflected
in the club's fantastic run in the 2002 Nile Special Super League
(NSSL)

double (Kakungulu Cup and NSSL Championships)
