SC Villa's Owino fans branch has received a boost of Shs3m from Jovia Saleh and Fufa president Lawrence Mulindwa at its official launch on Sunday.

The over crowded function that almost turned into a political rally due to a continuous number of aspirants like Al Haji Nasser Ssebagala, Nabila Nagayi and Elias Lukwago was held at Nakivubo Blue Primary School.

Aide de camp to Jovia Saleh Mr Andy Sseguya who was the chief guest at official opening said that the Saleh family had given the branch a package of Shs2m that would help in the running of the branch. "We want to see football going back to the heights of the 1980s. We are also still waiting to be approached for more,” said Sseguya.

Fufaf President Mulindwa also donated Shs1m. Villa fans boss Immanuel Missaga thanked all the sponsors who supported them.
