Record National Super League champions SC Villa
risk losing three points and two goals to rivals
Kampala City Council FC unless they avail a copy
of their sponsorship contract to local football
governing body Fufa.
The Blues earlier this year signed a sponsorship
contract with utl but Fufa claim the deal was
made without their notification which is against
the rules and regulations. Section K of the rules
over sponsorship state that if broken, clubs are
to be penalised by the loss of three points and
two goals.
“The Federation is very happy with the
sponsorship Villa got. However, the procedure
they used is not right. And now that they have
already got the sponsorship without notifying
us we only request for a copy of that contract,”
Fufa official Moses Magogo said.
He warned that if Villa does not submit a copy
of their contract with utl, Saturday’s fixture
will go ahead but the Blues will lose three points
and two goals.
